FEBS Advanced Lecture Course 2026 – Retina in a Dish: Methods & Applications in Life Sciences
Kuopio, Finland | 8-12 June 2026
FENS network members may be interested in an upcoming international, hands-on research training course focused on ex vivo retinal physiology and advanced imaging.
The course brings together leading experts and early-career researchers working at the intersection of retinal biology, macular degeneration, imaging technologies, and translational ophthalmology. Several themes are highly relevant for a subset of FENS researchers, including:
- ex vivo models supporting therapy and delivery development
- functional assessment of retinal tissue
- advanced optical and imaging approaches
The course is organized as a
