URGENT SECURITY ALERT – FRAUDULENT EMAILS

We have been made aware that fraudulent emails are circulating in the name of MNS President Prof. Youssef Anouar, requesting financial assistance or urgent money transfers allegedly on behalf of the Mediterranean Neuroscience Society (MNS).

Please be advised that Prof. Youssef Anouar has NOT sent these messages and has NOT requested any financial assistance or money transfers.

These emails are fraudulent and are an attempt to impersonate the MNS President.

If you receive such a message:

DO NOT reply to the email.
DO NOT transfer any money or share banking or personal information.
DO NOT click on any links or open attachments.
Delete or report the message as phishing.
Please remain vigilant and disregard any suspicious financial requests purportedly coming from the MNS President or other MNS officers.
